Why is this monstrosity of an eyesore still standing? The owners, didn’t have to spend extra on a separate planning application, to demolish this building before they are ready to construct its replacement, but they have.
I am at a loss to understand why Wiltshire Council officers need so long to decide on its demolition. I am also at a loss as to why our Wiltshire Councillors and Town Councillors are not asking this same question?
It’s not as if the building is Listed or of any historic interest! It is in a Conservation Area; it is near numerous listed buildings including a listed church. It is attracting Anti-Social behaviour, which is stretching our already over stretched police, wasting their time.
Yet again Wiltshire Council is re-enforcing my belief that they always find reasons to NOT do something rather than reasons to do something, and they really don’t give a **** about Calne!
